im not going to write much because i am frickin starving. things are still good. addie bit someone! i almost shat myself when i heard. i got my hair colored on friday. pretty kick ass. i watched the princess bride again last night. it rules. the guy said, "life is pain, heiness. anyone who says differently is selling something." that struck a chord. BRLIING! its so gorgeous outside. on monday (not yesterday) i had a great talk with renae about josh. quite interesting. ive just been so thankful i am doing things alone without arogant liberals and/or 80 million over-opinionated conservative christians all breathing down my neck. the further i find myself from college the more real life appears to me. i mean i heard from people that stuff from college is crap but oh golly, you have no idea. im so thankful for it but im just so glad its over and the stain of college is washing off of the realness of life. does that make sense? sort of like isingard (sp?) after the ents attacked. i dunno. i guess i am more easily influenced than i thought and although i learned a lot and consider myself to be pretty intelligent, i also feel like i have to sort through the brainwashing and just be.

I was at work at 5am today. It was crazy early but we had a ton of fun. It was the store's opening day. Not too busy, but steady, which was nice. My manager is so awesome. We labeled pretty much everything in the store including the espresso machines (mr. roboto and johnny 5) and the chocolate shavings container (betty). we also put a label on the cabinet which says, "i've got a vette...a chevette," or something like that. unfortunately all of us are going to be mod's which means we won't work together. oh well. i knew that once i got a good schedule i'd be much happier. don't get me wrong though, i'm still whooping ass on paper mario. ok i'm going to take a nap even though i've had a fair ass load of caffeine. i'm also kicking myself in the leg for not going to the "whole lotta pianos" tour.
hollie went to her best friend's graduation. president bush was the speaker. he apparently was joking about his super grammar and how if you want to learn about the english language you should look at him. hahaha. silly dumb guy. the original speaker was a yale prof who instead spoke at the senior breakfast and he was joking about how shitty it was to be one-upped by a yale student but even worse by a mediocre yale student. hahaha.

Oh man. It's 7 right now and I'm going to bed. I have to be in the city to start my shift at 7. That means I have to take a 6:15 train. I'm going to bed now. Goodnight.

So I haven't posted in a while. I have been kinda busy and I don't really go online at all anymore other than to check email. The new job is pretty cool. I am training for two positions at once, which kind of stresses me out. I'm training for like regular person but also Shift Supervisor, or Manager on Duty. I have to do lots of grown up things, like solve problems with people and deposit the money. I'm still sick which blows. The store I'm working at hasn't opened yet and I'm training in Chicago so I have to get up super early to hop on the train. I took the 6:27 train yesterday. I'm tired. Mom was gone all weekend at this prayer retreat and Dad's on a business trip, so it was nice to be alone, although I was gone a lot. Ps- if you want a vodka tonic don't make a vodka and sparkling water. It's not the same thing at all. Love, Andrea.
Josh came home for Mothers' Day. On Monday he was going to ask his gf to marry him. On Sat. he was going to break up with her. I don't even want to go into it but it's really hard to be around him. It's impossible to communicate. At least I'm not getting punched every two seconds and he's not calling me fat and stupid, etc. Even though we're "cool" now or whatever it's still very hard to even talk to him. I don't know what to say really or how to say it. I guess I still walk on eggshells around him, even now. So ya, that was an interesting week culminating on Sunday.
Oh man, I just feel so lethargic today. Better make some coffee.

Wow, at OI the keyboard is split in half, if you know what I mean, so it's weird using this one. Anyway, my birthday has come and gone and now I am nicely sick. I guess all that excitement caught up with me. HAHAHA. I sound like a man. I recently woke up and I have been running around since singing Amazing Grace in an octave lower with lots of old man vibrato. Ok ok, I did sing in the mirror and giggle. It's true. I woke Hollie up too but she told me to leave. For their 6 month ann. Nate got Hollie a 1lb. box of Spring Fanny May meltaways. Oh ya, and a mini IPod. Awww...Then they and this other couple went on a double date last night and Nate got Hollie a big purple monkey balloon, and yellow flowers. You'd be crazy not to be slightly jealous if your sister's bf is showering her with gifts and not because he wants some ass. But mostly, I am so so so so happy for her. They've had to deal with some stuff recently but mostly, he's just super great to her. I like him and I hope it works out for them. Serious dating is shit when it ends and wouldn't it be nice to not have to do that? SO I'm hoping for her. She's leaving for 5 weeks this summer for a music missions trip to Europe. She's going to Belgium, France, Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy. She's not just going but leading. So if you feel so inclined to support her let me know. Dumb girl is punking out on the family poopy reunion. Oh lordy, I am NOT looking forward to that! I have a job now. A dumb one, but I will get insurance so who gives a crap really. What else? I got some cooool stuff for my bday. I got Bridget Jones 2, Shrek 2 (YEA DIANE WE CAN WATCH IT WHEN YOU COME VISIT!!! WINK WINK WINK). Hollie got me season 2 of That 70s Show. I love that show. hahahaha. I got a nice shirt for my gradumation pictures. A gardening set with matching gloves and knee pads. hehehe. 3 n64 games! OK, let me tell you how fucking dumb this place is. Ok so one of the games was $30. My mom goes up to buy it and the guy is like, if you get 2 more games it's only 15. And she's like...this is a $30 game. You're saying if I buy 3 games it's only $15? And the guy was like ya. Umm. I think someone needs to explain supply, demand, how to make a profit, and any other basic econ business start-up rules to these people. So I got Super Smash bros. Paper Mario and Mario 64. I LOVE Paper Mario. hahahaha. I'm a piece of paper! I was playing Mario 64 and my dad came in to watch and he was laughing his ass off. He thought Mario was so cute when he dove and climbed trees. It was funny. He was like, "That little guy loves to dive on his stomach." And I'm like, "Uh Dad, I'm um..pressing the button to make him do that." hahaha. I love that man. Oh yes, and I got some Honeysuckle bath wash and lotion. Some cool Clinique what not. And 2 puzzles. lol. Everyone was laughing. I am such a damn hermint. Hermint?
